- SAVE THE DATE! October 3, 2011 Carpe Diem Dinner at Matt's Red RoosterIt's hard to believe but this year the Foundation celebrates its 10th year! The last 10 years have been so rewarding because the Foundation has been able to help so many cancer patients and their families. 10 years ago we sat around a table hoping to just raise enough money to buy some aerobeds for hospital rooms. Since then the Foundation has raised over $1.2 million, built "Paul's Place" - a 35-bed oncology wing at Somerset Medical Center, supported 6 different hospitals and organizations, and provided direct aid to almost 1,000 cancer patients and their families. We still answer 2-3 support requests a week for help! What a great legacy in Paul's name! All because of the support from you.
As always, the Foundation can use all the financial help it can get. We will celebrating our 10th anniversary at Matt's Carpe Diem Dinner on October 3rd. Be sure to save the date and plan to join us. Click on the link above for all the information about the dinner.

"To provide comfort and aid to cancer patients and their families"
Paul Nardoni died on April 17, 2001 after a five-year battle with Hodgkin's disease. Paul was our best friend and our greatest teacher. Through Paul, we have come to know that hope has many guises, that it lives in laughter and in tears, and that in the simplest of gestures it offers the most profound comfort.
The funds and programs provided by the Paul R. Nardoni Foundation have a direct and immediate impact on patients. No other organization is as focused on the care of the cancer patient and their families to the extent of the Foundation. The comfort the Foundation provides is a testament to the insight that Paul had into the very nature of the patient/family relationship -- the knowledge that with the external comfort and support to the patient and their family, the patient’s battle to overcome this dreaded disease can be focused without distraction.
Please join us in helping others as they face the challenge of this disease. We are deeply grateful for your support.
